MELVIN JONES

Vice President of Development, Vertical Bridge

Melvin Jones is the Vice President of Development at Vertical Bridge, where he leads the planning, execution, and delivery of new wireless infrastructure projects across the United States. In this role, Mr. Jones oversees end-to-end development activities, including site acquisition, engineering coordination, construction oversight, and deployment operations, while contributing to long-range strategy and capital investment initiatives.

Prior to joining Vertical Bridge, Mr. Jones served as Director of Operations at MasTec Network Solutions, where he managed operational performance, staffing, and budget objectives for wireless deployment teams across the Southeast region.

Mr. Jones holds an MBA in Finance from Tulane University, a Master of Science in Management from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University.

A United States Air Force veteran, Mr. Jones completed 12 years of active service. He also serves as a Board Member of the Bastion Community of Resilience, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families through community-based recovery, reintegration, and long-term wellness.
